DISABLE/ENABLE REGISTRY EDITTING

Post by Angel Atom on Mon Jul 01, 2013 6:46 pm

Is your Pc disturbing you with "registry editing has been disabled by administrator" when u are trying to perform tasks including the use of registry editor ? OR Do you just want to disable and later enable registry editor on your pc?
I wan to give off my best cuz i encountered this prob days ago. Just follow these steps:

1. Open "Run" from the start menu.

2. Type "gpedit.msc" in the box and press ok

3. Doubleclick on "User Configuration"

4. Doubleclick on "Administrative Templates"

5. Doubleclick on "System"

6. Doubleclick on "Ctrl+Alt+Del Options"

7. Doubleclick "Remove Task manager"

8.Disable or enable and click ok.

You are done and good to go!

OR METHOD 2
1. Open "Run" from start menu

2.Type "REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableRegistryTools /t REG_DWORD /d 0" in the box and click ok (it will be better if u copy and paste it from here)

3. Type "yes" in the command prompt that pops up and press enter.

You are done and good to go!
